Ongoingハイキュー!!
Shouyou Hinata is short. Very short. He's also obsessed with volleyball ever since he saw a match where an undersized ace earned the nickname "Little Giant". At Karasuno High, Hinata discovers he's been placed on the same team as Tobio Kageyama — the "King of the Court" setter who crushed Hinata's only middle-school match. What follows is one of the most meticulously-plotted sports manga ever made, a study in how good individual players become a great team.

Production I.G's adaptation is one of the best in the medium — the volleyball choreography, sound design, and character beats are all stronger on screen than on the page. If you've already watched through the latest film, jump straight to chapter 341.
After the Dumpster Battle against Nekoma (chapters 293-340), the manga moves into the second half of Nationals — the Inarizaki quarterfinal gets a sequel in the Kamomedai match, then the anticipated Karasuno vs Kamomedai semifinal, and finally the Nationals championship. The story then time-skips several years, following the Karasuno cast into professional volleyball (Hinata's time in Brazil, Kageyama with the Schweiden Adlers, the Japan national team). The manga ends at chapter 402, volume 45. The announced sequel film will adapt Kamomedai and the finals — ch 341 onwards — so readers who want to stay ahead of the anime should start there.
