David Production's adaptation is faithful and gorgeously animated, and Season 3 carries the story all the way to the manga's finale. There is no content to catch up on — this is one of the rare shonen anime that adapts its entire source.

The finale ties Fire Force directly into Soul Eater — the two series share a universe, with Fire Force serving as a distant prequel.
