Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama is an eighth-grader with one of the most destructive psychic powers on Earth — and absolutely no ambition to use it. He scrubs floors for Arataka Reigen, a con-man self-styled "psychic master" who bills Mob's real exorcisms as his own. From ONE (creator of One Punch Man), Mob Psycho 100 starts as a gag comedy and slowly turns into one of the most emotionally intelligent shonen ever made, about a kid who would rather be ordinary than special.

Consider starting from Chapter 1

Bones' adaptation is one of the most stylish in the medium — the fluid animation and color-shift sequences actively improve on the manga's pages. But ONE's original art style has a lo-fi charm that's worth experiencing on its own, and the manga has a handful of character beats trimmed from the anime. Both are great; either is a complete version of the story.

The anime adapts all 101 chapters of the manga, so there's no main-story continuation to read. The story is complete. If you want more, ONE's other major work — One Punch Man — is a completely different genre but shares the same sense of humor, and his side manga "Reigen" is a canon one-shot set during the main story from Reigen's perspective.
